A long time sideman in the NYC music scene, Jordan toured for years with Zappa tribute band Project/Object and worked with artists such as Gary Lucas, Nona Hendryx, Martha Wainwright and others. Known as a multi-instrumentalist, piano was his first love—he pairs strong classical technique with an easy improvisational fluency across rock-pop, jazz, and folk traditions—but his work also spans bluegrass, Balkan, jazz, rock, zydeco, and Celtic styles.
